Super Contra (スーパー魂斗羅 エイリアンの逆襲, Sūpā Kontora: Eirian no Gyakushū, "Super Contra: The Alien Strikes Back") is a Run and Gun-style action game produced by Konami, originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1988. It is the sequel to the original Contra and the second game in the Contra series released for the arcades. Like in the original game, the game centers on soldiers Bill Rizer and Lance Bean, who are once again assigned to protect the Earth from an army of alien invaders. The game features standard side-scrolling stages, as well as all new overhead stages in lieu of the original game's "3D" stages. Like its predecessor, a modified console version was made for the Nintendo Entertainment System, which saw release in North America as Super C and in Europe and Australia as Probotector II: Return of the Evil Forces. Both the arcade game and the NES game, have been re-released in various other platforms since their original releases.

Super Mario Bros. 3 (Japanese: スーパーマリオブラザーズ3 Hepburn: Sūpā Mario Burazāzu Surī?) is a platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) video game console. It is the fourth overall installment in the Super Mario Bros. series. It was first released in Japan on October 23, 1988 and later in North America on February 12, 1990. The game was developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development, led by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. Enhanced remakes were later released on the Super NES in 1993 and the Game Boy Advance in 2003. The game has been re-released as a Virtual Console title for the Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U consoles.

Super Pitfall (スーパーピットフォール, Sūpā Pittofōru?) is a 1986 Japanese video game for the Famicom and PC-8801 by Pony Inc. It was released for the Famicom as platformer with scrolling in September 1986. Two months later, the PC8801 version was released with switching screens. The game was released in the US in 1987 by Activision for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was the first game ever that Activision published for a console made by Nintendo and it was based upon Activision's earlier Pitfall! series for the Atari 2600. The game was later silently re-released without the "Rev-A" title by video-game publisher FCI. This game was also ported to the TRS-80 Color Computer 3. A sequel titled as Super Pitfall II was planned, but then was cancelled a short time later. It was going to be the localized version of Sunsoft's Famicom title, Atlantis no Nazo.

Swords and Serpents is a fantasy role-playing video game developed by Interplay Entertainment for the Nintendo Entertainment System. In this game, the player controls a party of four adventurers on a dungeon-crawling quest to destroy a terrible serpent. Along the way, the party encounters an onslaught of fantasy monsters and collects gold and treasure while gaining experience points needed to raise their individual attributes. Swords and Serpents focuses mainly on gameplay and contains very little plot development. The game was originally designed by Paul O'Conner (lead designer for Dragon Wars) but he only worked on the game for two weeks before leaving the project. Bruce Schlickbernd was assigned to revise the game design, but didn't feel it was appropriate to be listed as the sole designer. Thus, there is no game designer listed within the documentation for the game. This game has no connection to the Mattel Intellivision game of the same title.
