A Boy and His Blob is a platform-puzzle video game developed by WayForward Technologies and published by Majesco Entertainment for the Wii. It was released in North America on October 13, 2009, and in Europe on November 6, 2009. It is a re-imagining of the Nintendo Entertainment System title, A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia. WayForward's director Sean Velasco, a fan of the original NES title, expressed a desire to re-create and update the experience for current generation gamers, streamlining the NES title's gameplay mechanics to create a more "forgiving" experience. A Boy and His Blob's art direction has received widespread critical acclaim and praise, and was utilized by the developers, in addition to a minimalistic story, in order to create a "heartwarming...and friendly game" accessible to a wide audience.

The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends is a video game released by THQ inspired by The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. The game consists of seven levels that take players through various locales: A Swiss Alps-style mountain, a cavern, a mine, a submarine, a haunted ship, a port town, and a castle. Mini-games are available at certain points that allows players to collect extra lives. These mini-games are Peabody and Sherman, where players control Sherman and blow bubble gum bubbles to clog a dragon's mouth, and Dudley Do-Right, where players ride a horse and avoided an ever-approaching train which is driven by Snidely Whiplash. The Game Boy version only had three levels, although generally with multiple sections. In that one, the first level, Frostbite Falls, has the player controlling Bullwinkle, the second, on the Moon, uses Rocky, and the final one, the Abominable Manor, uses Bullwinkle again. Before the final section, a bonus level that had Bullwinkle running to the end of a football field to catch Rocky, while avoiding and head-butting football players on the way, could grant the player an extra life upon completion. The final section always had a time limit to defeat the Fearless Leader and rescue your friend, dying in this three times would send the player back to the first section of the level. Despite the absence thereof, the game label still showed the "Friends" (e.g. Dudley Do-Right).

After Burner II is an arcade-style flight game released by Sega in 1987. It is the second game in the After Burner series. In the game, players fly a F-14 Tomcat jet fighter, gunning down enemies while avoiding incoming fire. Like OutRun, another Sega arcade game, After Burner II came in several versions, the most famous being a large, servo actuated, sit-down cabinet which resembled a cockpit and moved according to the motion of the plane onscreen. The cockpit would bank in the same direction the on-screen aircraft was banking. There was also a more basic upright cabinet version. The differences between After Burner and After Burner II are very small, and it is easy to confuse the two. The differences included: The waiting-for-start sequence (the screen/music after a player inserts credits but before starting the game) is different. After Burner II added a throttle to the controls, allowing players to vary their speed while flying. After Burner has 18 stages; After Burner II has those same stages but adds three additional stages that make 21 stages total. After Burner II added a few minor enemy changes to introduce new speed-based challenges (missiles/aircraft behind the player aircraft) to account for the use of the new throttle control. The player's missiles in After Burner II could be fired considerably more frequently. Musical compositions were the same for both games, though After Burner's instrumentation is different in spots.
